Building capacity with Resilience Fundamentals Training

AIDR project officers build their capacity as resilience ambassadors through Resilient Melbourne’s Resilience Fundamentals Training.

On 20 February, two members of our Handbooks team attended Resilient Melbourne’s Resilience Fundamentals Training.

AIDR Project Officers Katelyn Samson and Ella Wilkinson took part in the one day training event that delivered the knowledge and resources to build their capacity in becoming resilience ambassadors. The training involved working through lectures and practical activities with people from varying organisations around Melbourne, exploring the concepts of resilience and how to use tools such as the 100 Resilient Cities, City Resilient Framework and the Qualities of Resilience.

Resilient Melbourne are part of the 100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. Find out more at the Resilient Melbourne website.
