Congratulations Andrew Gissing, new CEO Natural Hazards Research Australia

AIDR would like to congratulate Andrew Gissing in his new role as CEO Natural Hazards Research Australia (NHRA).

Andrew is an emergency management and resilience expert, with a long history in the emergency management sector as both a practitioner and researcher. Andrew has been an engaged contributor to AIDR’s program of work and was the writer for AIDR’s Flood Emergency Planning handbook and companion documents.

AIDR is looking forward to working with Andrew in his new role and NHRA and continuing to ensure that contemporary research is embedded into AIDR knowledge products.
