Contribute to the national discussion on home fire risk

In order to better understand perspectives of home buyers and owners in relation to fire risk and mitigation in the home, the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition is seeking participants to complete a short survey.

The Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Australia (HFSC) is a non-profit partnership between fire services and the fire protection industry, working to build increased sustainability and resilience in Australian homes through supporting greater awareness of the benefits of residential fire sprinklers.

In order to better understand perspectives of home buyers and owners in relation to fire risk and mitigation in the home, the Coalition is seeking participants to complete a short survey.

The HFSC has engaged students from the Worcester Polytechnic in Massachusetts to review similar programs in other countries and compare them to Australian public safety behaviour change campaigns, to determine possible options to promote residential fire sprinklers to the Australian community. This survey with Australian home owners and prospective buyers will provide an understanding of local perceptions and perspectives.
