EOI for scoping a handbook on community based disaster risk reduction
AIDR is seeking expressions of interest for a writer with project management, research, and communication skills to undertake a scoping project.
This scoping project is being undertaken to assess the need for a handbook on community based disaster risk reduction. The scoping would include an environmental scan and literature review, in addition to designing, conducting and analysing the results of a stakeholder survey and stakeholder focus groups. Throughout the process you will meet with the AIDR Knowledge Development team who will provide guidance and support where needed.
The final product is a report summarising the findings and making recommendations regarding the relevance of a handbook on this topic.
Should a need be identified, this scoping would inform a new handbook as part of the Australian Disaster Resilience Handbooks Collection.
Please submit your expression of interest along with your budget proposal and availability to John Richardson: john.richardson@aidr.org.au.
