EOI for Tsunami Emergency Planning in Australia Handbook writer
AIDR is seeking expressions of interest for a writer with project management, research and communication skills to support the review of the Tsunami Emergency Planning in Australia Handbook. This handbook is part of the Australian Disaster Resilience Handbook Collection and is a guide to the key principles of tsunami preparedness.
The writer's role is to prepare drafts and engage in a consensus approach with the expert working group to incorporate their feedback. The update of the handbook is to ensure the information provided is current and incorporates the most up to date research and local and international good practices.
The writer does not necessarily need to be a subject matter expert, but they should have experience/expertise in disaster risk reduction and/or emergency management. The writer will be supported by the AIDR Knowledge Development team.
The review is scheduled to be completed by June 30 2024.
Please submit your expression of interest, including detail of your expertise relevant to this project and your budget proposal to John Richardson: john.richardson@aidr.org.au.
