New checklist for reviewing an emergency plan
The Checklist to review an emergency plan provides a series of questions that can assist in the review on an emergency plan, noting that not all the questions may be relevant to all plans.
The companion document becomes a part of the Emergency Planning Collection, which brings together resources, tools and research to support emergency planning in Australia. The Emergency Planning Collection houses the Knowledge-into-Action briefs for emergency planning, which highlight key concepts from the handbook in short 1-2 page briefs.
There are additional tools and resources to assist households, businesses, local governments and schools and articles on emergency planning that appear in the Australian Journal of Emergency Management.
