New prescribed burning resources available

The Centre of Excellence for Prescribed Burning online resource is now live on the Knowledge Hub. Prescribed burning encompasses many elements from risk management to community engagement – this online collection equips practitioners with current best practice and research, informing planning and implementation. The growing collection includes a wealth of resources produced by the National Burning Project, as well as outcomes from research exploring Indigenous fire knowledge and cultural burning. The collection also supports collaboration and knowledge sharing; via the Knowledge Hub, users can subscribe to the newsletter, engage on social media and join the online practitioner network. 

The Centre’s manager, Ms Deb Sparkes, will run an introductory webinar at the end of January to enable users to get the most out of the collection.
