New Project Officer, Australian Institute of Disaster Resilience

AIDR would like to introduce new Project Officer, Angela Draper.

Angela is delighted to be part of the AIDR team having joined in July 2024 as a Project Officer, working with Melissa Matthews on the Knowledge Hub, and is looking forward to working closely with the AIDR team on the forthcoming Australian Disaster Resilience Conference (ADRC) in Sydney this September.

Angela joins AIDR with extensive experience in local government, emergency management projects, community development, and community services. She is currently completing a Master of International and Community Development, while trying to work through a growing, wobbly reading pile, squeezing in some yoga, drinking too much coffee, and thinking about how to contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and resilient world.
