Report captures five years of AIDR achievements
Since its establishment in 2015, AIDR has developed, maintained and shared knowledge to support a disaster resilient Australia. This progress has been captured in the AIDR Achievements Report 2015-2020.
Building on extensive knowledge and experience in Australia and internationally, AIDR has worked with government, communities, NGOs, not-for-profits, research organisations, education partners and the private sector to enhance disaster resilience through innovative thinking, professional development and knowledge sharing.
Throughout the past five years, AIDR has been supported by its partners: the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs, AFAC, the Australian Red Cross and the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre.
The report outlines the achievements of AIDR from 2015-20, including drawing on the outcomes of an independent evaluation conducted in 2019 which measured the impact and effectiveness of AIDR.
