Sponsored Places at ADRC26: Expressions of interest are now open
AIDR is offering a number of sponsored places for eligible delegates to attend the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference
Sponsored Places are for:
- Volunteers, students, community organisations, and not-for-profit organisations
- People and organisations that are unable to attend for financial reasons
- People and organisations that are actively engaged in building community disaster resilience
- People and organisations that will share their learnings with their communities and networks.

Eligibility criteria
Priority will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Currently reside in Australia, including asylum seekers
- Volunteer, study and/or work in areas of disaster risk reduction, community resilience, or emergency management.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who:
- Are aged 18-25 years
- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Identify as having a disability
- Have not received a sponsored place in the last three years.
Please note:
- Only one EOI per person will be accepted
- The EOI must be in the applicant's name, even if they need someone else to assist them to complete the application form.
What is included or not included
If successful, a sponsored place does include:
- One non-transferable conference pass to attend ADRC26 on 19-20 August 2026
- Onsite catering during the conference.
A sponsored place does not include:
- Travel and accommodation costs
- Conference events that require separate registration and payment, including the AFAC26 Welcome Function, AFAC26 Gala Dinner, and the AIDR Professional Development Program
- Any other expenses incurred.
